Taking ocean conservation to the counter
Give A Sip was a New York Aquarium campaign built on a hard truth: plastic straws are not recyclable and leave lasting damage in the ocean.
To change behavior and influence legislation, the message could not live inside an institution. It had to show up where New Yorkers grab straws every day.
We turned bodegas and neighborhood businesses across all five boroughs into advocacy hubs, bringing the issue - and the action - straight to the point of sip.
